Providing quality education for girls in
rural and underserved regions of Nepal

What We Do

Established in 2008, Namaste Children’s Fund (NCF) supports access to education for girls in underserved regions of Nepal. NCF founded Karnali Academy, a boarding school in Simikot village in the Humla region—one of the most remote and least developed districts in northwest Nepal.

Students travel from distant villages to attend Karnali Academy, where the school and hostel provide bilingual education to approximately 50 students in a supportive, community-centered environment. For secondary education and beyond, students transition to NCF’s Kirtipur hostel in Kathmandu and attend nearby schools.

NCF remains committed to long-term impact by supporting qualified and motivated young women who graduate from high school and continue their studies at colleges and technical schools in Kathmandu.
