Namaste Children's Fund Projects
Nepal is one of the smallest countries in the world, yet boasts the highest mountain, the deepest valley and an astonishing array of wildlife. The geography has also contributed to a large variety of ethnic and religious diversity.

Namaste Children's Fund currently lends support in three main project areas:
Thehe Village is located in the remote Humla district of Nepal. Humla is one of the poorest and most remote districts of Nepal and is home to 45,000 people. While rich in breathtaking scenery and culture,
most of the Humla district lacks basic development and infrastructure such as roads, irrigation and electricity.
The Hindu Vidyapeeth (HVP) organization is a group of schools and affiliated educational projects, founded by Dr. C.M. Yogi. NCF primarily supports students and projects in the Dang area.
Gargen Chyoling Nunnery is located in the Lower Mustang region of Nepal. This 380 year old nunnery supports disadvantaged girls and orphans in the region.
New: Solar for Shika
While not an official NCF project, we recently assisted a Seattle-based group on their Solar for Shika project, which was a one-time fundraising campaign to bring solar power to a school in the town of Shika. It was a great success and we look forward to updates from the school.
